About Us!

Teaching first aid has become more than a passion; it’s a mission. A traumatic experience planted a seed in me—a deep-seated passion for creating awareness of first aid skills.

I began to understand that these skills are not just technical knowledge but are about empowering oneself and others to act decisively in the face of crisis. Everyone should know basic first aid because you never know when you might be called upon to save a life.

My experience showed me just how fragile life can be and how powerful it feels to be prepared. That’s a lesson I want to pass on to as many people as possible.

About Moira Lewis

I’ve been drawn to the stories behind people’s struggles and triumphs—the human spirit’s ability to endure, heal, and thrive. Starting Lewis Aid wasn’t just an idea; it was a calling. I wanted to create something meaningful—a space where care isn’t transactional but transformational, where every individual feels they matter.

Lewis Aid was born out of countless moments that shaped me—moments spent holding someone’s hand through uncertainty, finding solutions when everything felt impossible, and realizing that even the smallest act of kindness can rewrite someone’s day. These moments, coupled with my lived experiences navigating challenges around mental health and supporting vulnerable individuals, have fueled my passion to create a platform where care truly makes a difference.

Beyond being a deeply personal journey, my work with Lewis Aid is backed by practical expertise. My background includes hands-on experience in various roles , that deepened my understanding of compassionate care, service delivery, and the unique needs of individuals facing complex circumstances. I’ve also trained in essential areas like First Aid, Mental Health Support, and Assistance for Aged Care and Disability.

Every step we take at Lewis Aid reflects my belief that care is a bridge—connecting people with the dignity, respect, and hope they deserve. This isn’t just a business; it’s a way of building a world where no one feels invisible or left behind.

Cardiac arrest is a medical emergency that can lead to death. With urgent medical care to restart the heart, survival is possible.

Quick decision making is required to recognise and assess a cardiac emergency, call for medical assistance and perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) procedures which will increase the chance of survival for a person who is unconscious and not breathing normally.
